Wedding Photography Workshop

We offer online and in-person wedding photography workshops, wedding photography portfolio reviews and one-to-one mentoring for photographers who want to understand their work more deeply, refine their visual voice and attract the kind of clients that truly fit what they do.

The Richters Flower. Wedding photographer and videographer in Europe.

A Wedding Photography Workshop To Develop Your Own Voice

With over 10 years of experience giving workshops and conferences around the world, we create a personal, tailored learning experience based on each photographer’s needs, through honest analysis of their portfolio, website and the deeper patterns behind the way they photograph.

This is a more mature form of mentorship, leaving behind staged couple shoots and surface-level exercises to focus on the photography itself. The aim is to move beyond average work shaped by trends, develop a clear and recognisable style, and elevate both the work and the business behind it.

Who This Is For

This is for wedding photographers and videographers who are not attracting the clients they truly want, for those who feel lost under the pressure of social media and no longer feel they are creating work that is genuinely their own, and for those who want to develop a personal vision instead of building a portfolio through styled couple shoots. It is especially for people who want personal guidance, not generic courses, but a tailored experience built around their reality, their region and their market.

A Personal Approach to Wedding Photography Workshops

We believe meaningful change in wedding photography can only happen through a personal approach. For us, this matters because the way someone photographs is never just technical, personality, fears, habits and personal conflicts always find their way into the work. Through dedicated one-to-one attention, it becomes much easier to recognise those patterns, identify what is holding the work back and create the conditions for real change.

How We Help You See Your Work More Clearly

Before we work with you, we ask to see a carefully selected body of work: a specific number of images, full wedding galleries and your website as it currently stands. We study all of it closely to understand how your work is being perceived, where the message is becoming confused, and why it may not be connecting with the clients you want to attract. From there, we help you see the patterns behind the way you shoot, edit and present your work, so you can understand what is holding you back and begin changing those habits with much greater clarity.

Ways to Work With Us

Online Wedding Photography Portfolio Review

For our online wedding photography portfolio review, we ask you to send us a specific body of work in advance: your strongest portfolio, a selection of your best weddings, your favourite images, and your website as it currently exists. We study all of it carefully before the session so that the conversation is grounded in a real understanding of your work, not first impressions. Then, in an online call of around 90 minutes, we give you a clear outside view of what is not working, what becomes immediately visible to us, where the communication is breaking down, and which patterns may be keeping you from attracting the clients you truly want.

Around 90 min online consultation:
-Porfolio analysis
-Brand analysis

One-to-one Wedding Photography Workshop

Our in-person wedding photography 1:1 course allows for a much deeper level of analysis than an online session. Beyond reviewing your portfolio, your style and your website, we work more thoroughly through the patterns, contradictions and deeper causes behind the way your work looks and communicates. Being together in person gives us the space to explore every relevant aspect with greater attention from visual habits and editing decisions to client perception, creative blocks and the personal dynamics that may be shaping your photography. The result is a more complete understanding of your work and a stronger foundation for meaningful change.

2 Days one-to-one workshop:
-How do we do our work
-Porfolio analysis
-Brand analysis
-Working through your style

“I think the best thing I could say about this experience is that it has changed my life. I know that the professional and personal are very intertwined, but thanks to you all, I’ve realized that everything goes together and that my personal life greatly influences my professional life, which is also what makes this business so beautiful. I cried, I laughed, and it was all worth it. It’s so much more than a workshop with other people, so much more than a conference, so much more than an inspirational photoshoot. I hope you realize how important you are to me. Thank you so much again. “

Long-Term Mentoring

Our long-term mentoring is the extended version of the in-person intensive, developed over the course of a year. Instead of focusing on a single moment of insight, we continue working through the season by reviewing selected weddings as they happen, so we can see whether the changes are truly taking hold, where old habits are returning, and what still needs to be adjusted. This ongoing process allows us to correct, refine and reinforce the work over time, so the evolution is not temporary but fully integrated into the way you photograph, edit and present your work.

What We Analyse in Your Work

We analyse your work from multiple angles, looking not only at what you photograph, but at how and why you photograph it that way. We pay close attention to framing, distance, rhythm, narrative and visual meaning, as well as the patterns behind your decisions from image to image. Alongside the photography itself, we also review your website, your written texts and the message they communicate, to see whether your images and words are truly aligned or sending different signals. The aim is to understand how your work is being read as a whole, where the contradictions are, and what may be stopping it from expressing a clearer and more recognisable voice.

Why Photographers And Videographers Come to Us

Photographers come to us looking for something more personal and honest than a generic course or portfolio shoot. Many have tried other workshops but still feel stuck in trends, attract the wrong clients, or don’t recognise themselves in their work. Their work often doesn’t stand out and it feels more like a mix of trends or what they think they should show. They come for direct analysis, deep attention and a tailored process to understand what’s really happening in their photography and how to change it.

Workshops and Conferences Around the World

For more than 10 years, we have been invited to more than 30  workshops and conferences around the world to share our way of seeing wedding photography and to help others reconnect with the profession in a deeper way. We are proud to still be invited after all these years, and that our work continues to be seen as relevant. Through these talks and educational experiences, we have inspired, challenged and moved photographers from many different countries, while helping keep alive a stronger sense of enthusiasm, honesty and creative ambition within the industry.

We have spoken in conferences like:

-Boda F
-Way Up North
-Fearless Photographers
-Nine Dots
-ANFM

Results, Testimonials and Transformation

What often emerges from this process is a clear moment of recognition. Photographers begin to understand the state of their work, how it is being communicated, and why it has taken its current shape. Very often, that understanding is tied to deeper internal reasons — habits, fears, forms of control or personal patterns that have been shaping the work without being fully seen. Once those patterns become visible, real change can begin. For many, this marks the start of a more personal vision, a greater sense of clarity, and a deeper stage of creative maturity.

“I met Moni and Pol at the Flockers Workshop in Northern Ireland, and I’m still a bit lost for words. Not only was their speech an emotional and motivational masterpiece, but the time spent with these two wonderful souls was also such a gift to me. I’m also so thankful for all the individual input they gave to every attendee at the workshop. They really went the extra mile for everyone. I’m at a point in my career where I feel stuck and want to make a shift, but I don’t really know where to go or how to do it. Moni and Pol really shifted something inside of me, something clicked. It was almost like therapy. I now feel sure that I can make a change, and I can’t describe how thankful I am for that. They gave me so much inspiration and showed me a way to implement my values more directly in my work. I truly believe this will change my life, and I can’t thank them enough for that. Thank you so much”

About Us

We’re Mónica and PoL ( The Richters) a photographer and filmmaker duo working at the intersection of documentary, film, and art. For over 15 years, we’ve told stories through an honest, emotional, and deeply personal lens, paying attention to the quiet, intimate moments that usually pass unnoticed.

We intentionally limit our work to around 10 weddings each season to keep every project close, focused, and meaningful. Our passion for this craft naturally extends beyond weddings into personal and artistic projects, which have led to exhibitions and international recognition.

The mentoring takes place at home (Berlin, Europe), with the option of staying at home or sleeping away and only coming during workshop hours.

Bring your laptop so you can easily access your work and edit it if needed. Bring your camera too, in case you need to do any shooting exercises.

Once you decide to work with us and we have a date, we’ll send you a short questionnaire and ask for specific details from your portfolio (best photos, 1-2 complete weddings, etc.). This will allow us to see how you shoot, what you focus on, any potential flaws or bad habits, but also your strengths. With this information, we’ll have enough data to analyze your portfolio to determine what needs to be adjusted in your work to better serve your needs.

Tell us what you need and what kind of mentoring you’re thinking about. Let’s check availability together and set a date.

For over 10 years, we have inspired and helped literally hundreds of people through conferences, workshops, and one-on-one mentoring. We have given conferences and workshops in countries such as the USA, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Morocco, Romania, and Germany.

We are happy and proud that our wedding photography workshops have been top-rated . You can read some of the reviews in our google business profile.

The personal workshops take place at our home in Berlin, Germany, but the online mentoring sessions can, of course, be conducted from anywhere in the world. We are also available to travel to conduct in-person workshops within Europe (UK, France, Spain, Italy, etc.).

Absolutely, we can review your portfolio and we can also work on your shooting style and narrative. The mentoring options are the same as for the photography workshops.
