Europe Wedding Photographer

We are Moni and Pol, destination wedding photographers based in Europe working with couples travelling to celebrate their destination wedding in Spain, Italy, France and other European locations. Our documentary approach focuses on capturing weddings naturally as they unfold, helping couples celebrate freely while preserving the atmosphere, emotion and experience of gathering with family and friends in a place chosen intentionally for its meaning and character.

Planning A Wedding In Europa From The US, Canada or Beyond.
Planning a wedding in Europe often means organising a celebration from abroad, navigating venues, travel and timelines across different countries and cultures. Working with photographers already based in Europe allows couples travelling from the US, Canada, Australia and beyond to rely on local experience, ensuring coverage integrates naturally into the flow of the wedding while keeping the focus on the experience rather than logistics.

Why Couples Choose Europe For Their Weddings
Many couples travel to Europe in search of celebrations shaped more by atmosphere and experience than by formal tradition. From long outdoor dinners in Barcelona (Spain) and coastal gatherings in Italy to historic venues and countryside estates across France and beyond, European weddings often unfold over several days, allowing time for connection, travel and shared moments with family and friends. Our documentary approach follows this slower rhythm naturally, preserving not only how the wedding looked, but how it felt to be there together.
Film Wedding Photography
Using analog photography, Super 8 film and VHS as conscious creative tools, not as decoration or trend. These formats introduce texture, imperfection and rhythm, encouraging a slower and more attentive way of working. Film wedding photography helps us step away from hyper-control and focus on presence. Digital is also part of our process when needed, always guided by the same documentary principles and textures.

Working Across Europe For Destination Weddings
Planning a wedding across countries often involves multiple locations, travel schedules and celebrations unfolding over several days. Being based in Europe allows us to move easily between destinations while coordinating arrival, preparation and coverage in advance, ensuring photography integrates naturally into the rhythm of the wedding without adding complexity to the planning process.

Selected Works
We regularly work with couples traveling to Southern Europe for their wedding, particularly from the United States, the UK and Australia. We are experienced in working across countries, cultures and timelines, adapting easily to different locations, from cities to remote landscapes. The focus is never the backdrop alone, but how people inhabit a place together for a brief, meaningful moment.
Destination Wedding Puglia (Italy)
Puglia, Italy — Sun-bleached landscapes, ancient olive groves, and whitewashed masserie create a raw yet refined southern Italian atmosphere. The light is direct and honest, especially at golden hour, giving skin tones warmth and depth while preserving architectural texture.
«Oh my God guys, we’ve just watched the video 3 times over. It´s incredible. I’ve got goosebumps. You have smashed it. We are blown away. And the photos, oh my God! You did everything we could have hope for and more!! They feel like how the day felt»

Destination Wedding Barcelona (Spain)
Barcelona, Spain — Beyond the city, the landscape shifts into rural Catalonia: traditional masías surrounded by fields, vineyards, and soft mountain silhouettes. Areas like Montseny Natural Park offer dense forests, rolling hills, and diffused light that changes with altitude and season. The interior zones combine rustic stone architecture with open horizons, creating an atmosphere that feels grounded, intimate, and connected to land rather than urban rhythm.
«Their hearts are so big and sincere, they care so much about your day as family would and instantly feel like they are a part of your journey. They are so deeply invested in your personal story and capture the moments that traditional wedding photographers could never and turn it into the most memorable story. We didn’t want our photos to be forced and cringe like most wedding pics and my god when we got the photos and video back.. we were in tears. The emotion that comes with every raw, unfiltered, candid moment is just next to none.»

Destination Wedding In Ibiza (Spain)
Ibiza, Spain — Beyond its nightlife reputation, Ibiza offers raw Mediterranean landscapes, cliffside horizons, hidden coves, and rustic fincas surrounded by almond and olive trees. The light is dry and intense during the day, then turns soft and amber at sunset, creating strong contrast and sculpted silhouettes. The island carries a natural bohemian character, where luxury and informality coexist, allowing celebrations to feel both elevated and unforced.
“Darling Monica and Pol, we have finally re surfaced after the most incredible weekend. Dom and I wanted to say a huge thank you to you both for being a HUGE part of our wedding celebrations. We haven’t seen your footage yet however we already know it’s going to be incredible. Your presence over the weekend felt like you were our friends and guests. We can’t wait to see what you captured.
Congratulations to you both again on your wedding too. Sending huge love from one set of newlyweds to another “.

Destination Wedding Costa Del Sol (Spain)
Costa del Sol, Spain — Expansive horizons, bright Mediterranean clarity, and relaxed coastal energy. The combination of sea views, contemporary villas, and warm evening tones creates clean compositions with strong natural luminosity.
«Holy fuck, we are in bits. Genuinely can´t believe what we just watched. How have you captured the essence of it so perfectly. We loved so so much, it’s incredible!”»

Destination Wedding In Santorini (Greece)
Dramatic volcanic landscapes, whitewashed architecture and expansive views over the Aegean Sea create a setting defined by light and contrast. The island’s soft reflections, open horizons and warm sunset tones shape weddings with a calm, atmospheric quality and a distinctly Mediterranean sense of space.
Beyond Wedding Photography
Alongside weddings, we develop independent documentary and artistic projects presented in galleries and film festivals. Our work has been published in both wedding publications and cultural editorials like Vogue. With over fifteen years of experience, we also teach and speak internationally about documentary practice. This broader background directly informs how we approach weddings: with intention, restraint and visual maturity.
